The CoachHouse is situated just 10 minutes north of Kerikeri and is your gateway to beautiful beaches and Kauri forest walks. You can take a trek to unique boulders situated nearby or stroll in our sub-tropical gardens. Paihia, with access to historic Russell and the Bay of Islands, is a 25 minute drive away.
Our Accommodation
Our home was built in 2004 and was designed with the thought of accommodating bed and breakfast guests. We provide two generous-sized rooms each with its own ensuite and independent access to allow you to come and go as you please. The rooms are tastefully appointed – one queen bed, one twin single –both overlook the park-like grounds and meandering river below. Our home is spacious, has restful living areas with wide terraces, and a variety of pleasant garden outlooks.
You can enjoy our tranquil surroundings with:
- afternoon tea or coffee with home baking on arrival
- continental or cooked breakfast using local produce
- laundry facilities
- free wireless internet access
- bush and garden walks
- petanque court.
We also offer accommodation at our CoachHouse Barn - a separate self contained unit on the property, with full amenities.

We raised a family and owned our own business in Auckland. In 2000, we purchased our Kerikeri property with a long-term view in mind. However, we found the attraction of a lifestyle change irresistible – from busy Auckland to the tranquil, yet vibrant, Bay of Islands district. So we packed up and moved north in 2003.
